On Tuesday, March 19, Linetec team members turned out to support Manna House, a Louisiana-based organization that provides hot, nutritious meals 365 days a year to those most in need. Specifically, Linetec representatives played in a charity Pro-Am golf tournament, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Manna House. The organization is run purely on community and volunteer support and relies heavily on community partners like Linetec.
Linetec is committed to supporting the growth of its employees by providing the tools and resources necessary to help advance their careers. We are proud to say that we have now had 33 apprentices graduate from Linetec's Lineman Apprenticeship Program. The Department of Labor approved four-year Lineman Apprenticeship Program is available to all Linetec apprentices to ensure our crews receive the highest quality training and are equipped to safely tackle the operational challenges they will face daily.
Linetec is proud to be an active member of the communities we serve. We recently received a note from a resident of Sheridan, AR praising our crews for showing respect as a funeral procession passed where they were working. "I don't know the name of the company that is replacing all the electrical poles on Little Creek Cutoff Road BUT I want to brag on them! While on my patio this morning a funeral procession was going by and all the men on the ground took off their hard helmets and stood still as they went by! Great act of kindness!" – Julie A.Great work!
